Hello

Okay here I go again. Another late Christmas blog. I'm sure its okay though. After 2020. had. One of the hardest. I do hope this finds you well. I am aware of the losses many of us have faced. The hardships. The changes that can't be undone. Last Christmas alone became a surreal experience as most of everything was closed. The Rockefeller tree almost didn't happen. The Thanksgiving parade had been cancelled. Things got depressing. Some of us struggled with Covid itself. I became very sick last March as the pandemic began to take hold. My brother and his wife were also sick. My son tested positive earlier this week forcing us all in isolation.

A friend who interviewed me for his blog radio years ago died from the virus. In one of his last Facebook posts he mentioned not feeling well. It was serious and before I knew what happened he was on a respirator. From there he passed on. And it hasn't ended there. Last Thursday one of my close friends passed away. At only twenty nine years old. I am still hurting over this loss. Below are pictures he sent me years ago. One of his Christmas tree and the other a picture of himself with a beloved pet who is also gone. My friend's name is Tristian Comer and he was only twenty nine. He suffered from depression and went through many hardships. Despite this he was still a caring person and one of the best friends any one could ever have. I am heartbroken. Please say a prayer for his family and loved ones through this hard time. In the same sense I offer my love and prayers for anyone going through anything from Covid or any hardship. I miss Tristian a great deal already. May he rest in peace.

I apologize for the sadness of my announcements so far. But 2020 has been a difficult year and I know not only for me.  There is comfort in the page (among others) and the knowledge of our being a family, a Christmas family. A family who are together spiritually as we live in different parts of the globe. Our thoughts and love bring us together as I hope my posts have done. And will continue to do as I have no shame in admitting that I need my Christmas family now. Perhaps more than ever. I would love to hear from you and always welcome any comments you have. Feel free to reach out to me at my email sonicmets1970@aol.com. You can also inbox me at Christmas Daily.

Next, I would love to share this poem one of our fellow Christmas lovers shared with me a while back. I know the letters are a little small. If you have a hard time reading it let me know and I'll post the poem itself. I just loved the way it looked with the Christmas background.

I would also love to share this poem that Tristian donated for my book J and K Christmas.

Christmas Throwback

These are always fun no matter the occasion. I admit I need to get better with the years as I can't say what year this pic was from. Yet I'm sure it's likely around 2016 not long after my dad passed away. My brother had taken Mom to see Santa Claus. I'm sure it helped her to get out for a bit that holiday as it was a crushing one for her. As much as Dad loved Christmas its always hard to face the holidays now with him gone.

Enjoy this video I made a few years ago with some of your trees. I thank you again for

sharing pics of your trees with me during these past few years. I hope we'll do it again this year.

Well that's all for now. I know its a bit short but I will bring more on our next blog. Please take care of yourselves and remember we're here for you. Much love to all and Merry Christmas. All year long!

Oh and Happy Belated Mother's Day!
